Any of the programs at UNK are going to be unique due to the fact that all students are going to get to work hands on within their field of study from the beginning of the program to graduation day.

Any of the programs at UNK are going to be unique due to the fact that all students are going to get to work hands on within their field of study from the beginning of the program to graduation day.

The Sports Administration Program is unique in the fact that we believe in experiential learning from the beginning. We work closely with our athletic department to offer as many opportunities as possible for the students to get involved. In addition we also work with our Tri-City Arena and Tri-City Storm Hockey team to give another avenue for additional hands on experiences. The entire core off the program is taught in one department and complimented by other departments on campus to make our students very well prepared for the field of sports administration.

Athletic Training Education Program at UNK is a CAAE Approved program that has an outstanding national exam pass rate and placement rate. The pass rate for the national certification exam is 90% on the first try placing our studentsí right in there with programs like the University of North Carolina. In addition we also have a great placement rate after graduation 85% of our students have jobs or go on to graduate school.

Exercise Science Fitness and Wellness is a degree designed to prepare students who desire to work in the area of corporate wellness, personal training, personal strength and conditioning and in the fitness industry as whole.

Master's in Physical Education - Specialization in Sports Administration
