A top ranked global sport management program with full-time professors that have practical experience and vast industry networks. The Sport Management concentration is available for both the Masters of Business (MBA) or Masters of Tourism Administration (MTA) degrees on campus and online. As one of the first sport management programs offered, the alumni network is extremely strong across the globe.

Sports Management Program Description 

The George Washington University offers two options to study Sport Management at the graduate level. A Masters of Tourism Administration (MTA) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA), both offered on campus and online.

Since 1991, the George Washington has provided the most comprehensive and engaged field of study that exists in sport management. By offering unique and innovative programs that meet the needs of students and the industry, this program has earned respect by preparing its graduates to succeed.

Our Program Director and founder Lisa Delpy Neirotti has been named one of the top 25 innovators and influencers in the sports industry. She leads a dynamic team of seasoned faculty members who each bring over 20 years of experience in their respective areas of expertise, which include:

The highly ranked GW Sports Management program is designed to develop leaders and entrepreneurs to facilitate the continued growth of the $500 billion global sports industry. Students gain knowledge of key issues and aspects of the industry from leading sport professionals and through hands-on experiences. The sport management program prepares students through practical assignments to manage and market athletes, sports media, facilities, events, and products utilizing the latest analytical tools and strategies.
